FAQs

If you plan to visit Baby Schiwy within the first six weeks of his life you must have these vaccines up-to-date:
  • TDaP – Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis (whooping cough)
    • Please get an updated shot if you have not had one in the last 3 years
  • Flu
  • COVID-19 Booster (where available)
We ask that you please stay home if you are feeling sick and that all visitors wash their hands before holding Baby Schiwy as a precaution.  Thanks for your understanding!
Parents and siblings are welcome to visit us at the hospital after Baby Schiwy has arrived! Refer to the information below to plan your visit during our hospital stay.
  • Location: Family Childbirth and Children’s Center at Mercy
  • Address: 345 St. Paul Place Baltimore, MD 21202 (The Bunting Center building)
  • Unit: Mother – Baby Unit (10th floor)
  • Unit Phone Number: 410-332-9325
  • Visiting Hours: 8:00am-8:30pm daily
  • Parking: available at the Bunting Garage
    • Address: 250 E. Pleasant Street Baltimore, MD 21202
    • Hours: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
    • Rates: first 30 minutes free
      • 30 minutes – 1.5 hours = $5
      • 1.5 hours – 5 hours = $7
      • 5 hours – 24 hours = $11
    • All-weather bridge access to the Bunting Center from level 4
    • Valet parking available
Family and friends who are vaccinated and healthy are welcome to visit us and Baby Schiwy at our home! Please refer to the Health & Safety FAQ for information about which vaccines to get prior to your visit.
